Dr. Shaukat Gill was born on January 2, 1978 in Kasur, Punjab in a farming family who was a Catholic Christian as well as a shrine worshiper. He was the first member in his family to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from AIO University, followed by a Master degree from Punjab University. He later obtained a Doctor of Comparative Studies from Revelation Institute of Biblical Studies. Doctor of Theology from Northwestren Theological Seminary. Doctor of Ministry from Faith Theological Seminary. Doctor of Missiology from Independent Evangelical Seminary.
In 1986, Dr. Shaukat Gill left shrine worship and began living a true Christian life. His ministry work began with high school Christian children. Government High School Ravkhanwala used to have more than 700 students. In winter, Muslim students and teachers used to go to the school mosque to offer the noon prayer. Christian children who remained from sixth grade to tenth grade. There was no Christian teacher in the school. Who was a Qari teacher whose name was Qari Liaqat Ali. He examined Christian children of all denominations. He assigned the duty to Shaukat Gill to teach the Bible and pray to these Christian children. At that time he was a student of the seventh grade. Thus he started the ministry work among his age group and older boys of his age.
In 1997, Dr. Shaukat Gill did his first evangelistic crusade in Fatehpur Kasur. There was a three-day evangelistic crusade and there were three evangelistic prayers in a day. The first prayer was at 5 am. The second prayer was held at 12 noon while the third prayer started at 6 in the evening. More people came in the evening prayer. He had a message in the evening worship. Many people knew the teachings of the Bible and surrendered their lives to God. People accepted Christ as their Saviour and the Lord,after the afternoon prayer, water baptisms were held on the Fatehpur Canal. The evangelistic crusade started from Kasur and reached the entire province of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Later! This series also went to Dubai, Malaysia and other countries.
In 2018, Dr. Shaukat Gill started commentering on the Bible with a team in the program "Light of the Bible" on the famous Pakistani television Barkat TV. In the God's Love program, people had the opportunity to listen to God's love. People had the opportunity to listen and watch his messages on famous televisions of Pakistan, Barakat TV, King Television, Paul TV, Immanuel TV and JC TV.
On the teaching ministry, Dr. Shaukat Gill started the Portable Bible School in Dawood Nagar, Sialkot Cantt from the year 2001. Before that, he served as guest lecturer in various seminars and seminaries. Through the Portable Bible School he visited Sialkot, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Khanqa Dogran, Sangla Hill, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Raiwand, Kasur, Chunian, Patu Ki, Okara, Sahiwal, Mian Chanu, Shanti Nagar and other parts of Punjab. Since 2012, he has been serving as a professor in the Christian Educational University. From 2001 to 2024, he graduated more than 8 thousand students from various Bible schools, Bible colleges and famous seminaries of Pakistan and the Christian Educational University. The famous subjects he has taught,Survey of the Bible, Doctraines of the Bible, Theology, Homiletics, Pastoral Theology, Missions and Comparative Stdies.
When Dr. Shaukat Gill was still in his teens, various churches eagerly invited him as a guest speaker for Sunday services and his preacings drew crowds. There were a lot of informative things in his preaching. One thing is that people did not forget his words quickly. His words had a lasting impact on people's lives. A man met after 13 years. He shared what he had learned from his sermon in a crusade 13 years ago. When a youth group met them after 17 years, they showed his message from seventeen years ago on diary. No one is ready to become a missionary, but Dr. Shaukat Gill has taught missions in many different Bible schools and seminars. He has written textbooks on missions. Dr. Shaukat Gill started his pastoral ministry in 1993 from a small church in Athilpur, a suburb of Kasur. The best 17 years of life were spent in this church. From this church, God created professors, missionaries, pastors and leaders of the church. After that, he was transferred to Kot Usman Khan Church in the city area of Kasur. Currently serving in Kot Usman Khan till 2024. Dr. Shaukat Gill has built a few churches with his own help which he has given to his brothers and disciples so that they can carry out ministry work in them.
